Microphone not detected

Why this happens

Recording needs permission to use your phone browser's microphone. If Dafado cannot find the mic, usually one of two things is true: permission was denied, or another app is already using the microphone.

Fix it

1. Close any other app that might be using the microphone, such as a call, a voice recorder, or a video app.
2. Open your phone settings and allow microphone access for the browser you are using.
3. Come back to the Dafado page and reload it.
4. Hold the button again. When the browser asks for microphone permission, tap Allow.

Still not working?

• Try a different browser on your phone.
• Restart your phone, then reload the page and try once more.
• If it still will not record, email hello@dafado.com and tell us which phone and browser you are using.
