User-level notes on what is new in Dafado.

About this changelog

This is a plain, user-level record of what has changed in Dafado. Entries are grouped by month. They describe what a guest or a place owner would notice, not internal engineering detail.

July 2026

  • On-record prompt card. While you record, a gentle prompt appears with something to talk about. Tap it for another idea. The recording keeps running the whole time.
  • Place categories. Places can be more than restaurants and cafes now, including outdoor spots like trails, so the prompts fit the kind of place you are talking about.
  • Speak and read in your own language. A place can accept any spoken language and detect it automatically. Readers can translate a published review into their own language with one tap.
  • Right of reply, and reviews stay up. A place that claims its page can answer in its own voice. A place cannot take down or hide a review of itself. Replies and reviews are shown together.
  • Reviews and replies policy page. A dedicated page on the main site explains how reviews and replies work and what a place can and cannot do.
  • Audio playback with an optional music bed. Published reviews can play with a soft background track under the voice, and loudness is evened out between recordings so nothing is jarringly quiet or loud.
  • Your voice stays yours. Before you publish, Dafado now shows and records exactly what you agree to, in your own language, and states plainly that it will not reuse, clone, or license your voice beyond showing your review.
  • Verified, unaltered originals. Every recording is fingerprinted and given an independent trusted timestamp the moment it arrives, so the original can always be shown to be genuine and unchanged.
  • Delete anything, anytime. Deleting a review or your account now clears it from Dafado's live systems right away: the audio, its transcript, and the record of it.
  • These docs launched, and grew. The documentation you are reading is live and kept in sync as the product changes, and now includes a Your voice, your rights page explaining the promises above.
