Manage Voice Collectors

Administrators can manage Voice Collectors from the signed-in Dafado website on a phone or computer.

Open dafado.com/collectors/manage/ or choose Collectors in the account menu.

Create or edit

The collector list shows every current recorder, its status, prompt, owner, edit link, and live recorder link. Choose New collector to begin or Edit beside an existing collector.

Basics

Set the collector name, short link, and account that receives its recordings. Link names must be unique.

Message and branding

Set the main prompt, optional helper text, brand color, logo, and recorder artwork. Recommended dimensions are displayed beside the file controls:

• Logo: 600 × 200 pixels, preferably a transparent PNG or WebP.
• Recorder artwork: 1200 × 675 pixels in a 16:9 shape.

The upload control can use a phone photo library or camera when the browser offers those choices.

Recording experience

Choose the maximum recording length, automatic language detection or specific language codes, and optional requests for a first name, rating, location, or photos. Photo collection can allow the camera and library or restrict the guest to the camera.

Location, consent, and notifications

Search for a business or address and choose a result to lock the exact location. Set the consent line and, when needed, a notification email.

Draft and active status

Leave Collector is active off to save a private draft. Turn it on when the public recorder is ready to receive voices.

The website editor and the older WordPress Collector screen use the same collector record. A change in either interface appears in the other.
