A Dafado review is about a place or a person. Here is how each kind of subject works.
Two kinds of subject
Every voice review is about a subject. That subject is either a place or a person. The recording, the transcript, the translation, and the page all work the same way for both. What differs is what the subject is and how it comes to exist on Dafado.
Places
Most reviews are about a place: a cafe, a shop, a bar, a service.
From the map. Most places already exist on the map, and Dafado draws on OpenStreetMap data to find them. You search, pick the right one, and record.
Hand-added when the map does not know it. Sometimes a place is not on the map yet. A guest can add it on the spot. Dafado then looks up a nearby road and settlement for it and shows it as "Near X" rather than pretending to know an exact street address. A bare country name is never shown as if it were an address.
Honest about what is known. When an address is worked out this way rather than confirmed, it is shown with that caveat, and it is never fed into search-engine structured data as if it were a verified address. Dafado would rather say "Near X" plainly than state a precise address it cannot stand behind.
When a place has a known location, its review pages can show the place and a map.
People
A review can also be about a person. This is the creator model: a page about someone rather than a location.
A person page is always self-claimed. Dafado only ever makes a page about a person when that person claims it themselves. It is never created about someone else. This is a firm line. A page about a named individual without their consent would be a way to target that person, so Dafado does not allow it. The question is never "who may we make a page about" but "who may claim themselves."
Creator pages are free, permanently. A person can have their own page, collect voices about their work, and reply in their own voice, at no cost. The paid product is the business toolkit for places, not the person page.
Why the split matters
Keeping place and person as distinct kinds of subject keeps things honest. A place is defined by where it is. A person is defined by who they are, and their page belongs to them alone. Same recording flow, same playback, two clearly separate kinds of subject.
