Claim your place

A page about your place can exist before you do anything. When a guest records a review, Dafado creates a public page for the place so the voice has a home. Claiming that page is how you take ownership of it.

Claiming proves the place is yours. Once you claim it, you get an owner dashboard, the tools to understand what people are saying, and the ability to reply in your own recorded voice.

What the dashboard shows

Your dashboard turns raw voices into something you can act on.

• Your reviews. Every voice review of your place, transcribed and, where needed, translated, so you can read as well as listen.
• Themes. The subjects that come up again and again across your reviews.
• Sentiment. How people feel, not just what they rated.
• Trends. How all of this shifts as new voices arrive. The dashboard updates as more people speak.

The point is understanding. A rating tells you a number. A voice tells you why, and the dashboard gathers those whys into a picture you can use.

Reply in your own voice

You can respond to a review by recording your own voice, the same way your guests did. A reply is your right to answer. It is not a way to edit or remove what a guest said. See Moderation and the review policy for what claiming does and does not let you do.

Preview as an owner

Owners and admins can preview the site as an owner or creator, so you can see exactly what your visitors see before anything is public.

Getting started

Start from the main site and follow the claim flow for your place. When your claim is verified, your dashboard opens and your reviews appear there.
